By buying a ticket, making a reservation, or entering Chin Chin Club, you agree to the following terms. They apply alongside our privacy policy, our door policy, and any specific terms shown at checkout.
1. The venue
Chin Chin Club is a trading name of Potato Club B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 67039022, located at Rozengracht 133, 1016 LV Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Contact, Email us.
2. Tickets
Club tickets are sold through our ticketing partner Celebratix. Tickets are personal but transferable to another guest. They are non-refundable except where required by Dutch law. If an event is cancelled by us, you'll receive a full refund of the ticket price; we are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs.
3. Reservations
Reservations are split into three different booking types. The cancellation rules below apply to each type separately.
3.1 Dinner Show cancellation
Dinner Show reservations are handled through Tebi and confirmed by email. A deposit is taken at booking. These cancellation terms apply to the Dinner Show only:
- More than 72 hours before the show: free cancellation, deposit refunded.
- Within 72 hours before the show, or in case of no-show: 100% of the deposit is retained.
For special periods (for example New Year's Eve or public holidays) different cancellation terms and deposit amounts may apply. These are shown during the Tebi booking process and stated in your reservation confirmation, and prevail over the rules above.
3.2 VIP tables
VIP table reservations are handled by our team via WhatsApp or email and confirmed in writing. Specific cancellation terms will be shared with your confirmation.
3.3 Private events / venue hire cancellation
Private events and venue hire are booked through a separate quotation. The quotation terms apply and prevail over the other reservation rules on this page. For cancellations by the client, the following sliding scale of the agreed minimum spend applies:
- More than 30 days before the event: 25%.
- 15–30 days before the event: 50%.
- 8–14 days before the event: 75%.
- Less than 7 days before the event: 100%.
4. Door policy
Entry is at the discretion of our door staff to keep the vibe, safety and balance inside the club. Doors close at 03:00. Valid ID is required, no ID, no entry. Minimum age varies per night, see the event listing. Please review our full door policy before you arrive. Visibly intoxicated guests, weapons or outside drinks/drugs, aggressive behaviour, large all-male groups, inappropriate clothing (sportswear, tracksuits, beachwear, caps, hats, shorts, shoulder bags) and previous disturbance may all be reasons for refused entry. Zero tolerance for discrimination, sexism, racism, homophobia.
5. Inside the venue
You're responsible for your own belongings. Lost items can be reported through our lost & found portal. We are not liable for items left unattended. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. Photography and filming inside the venue is allowed for personal use; commercial filming requires prior written permission.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by Dutch law, our liability for indirect or consequential damages is excluded. Direct damages are limited to the amount you paid for the ticket or reservation. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for intent or gross negligence.
7. Force majeure
If we cannot run an event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (illness of key staff, government restrictions, infrastructure failures, weather, force majeure), we will offer a credit or refund of the ticket price.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website (logos, photography, copy) is the property of Potato Club B.V. or used under licence. You may not reproduce or distribute it without permission.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
